Happy New year

Sorry about the delays... worse than before... but I just have to tell you what remarkable things I've been doing, seeing, learning... or not. What I really wanted to talk about was God.
I have been memorizing Bible verses for a couple of months now and I wanted to tell you the ones I picked.
John 15:18 "If the world hates you, realize that it hated me first."

Jeremiah 1:5 "Before I formed you in the womb, I knew you; before you were born I dedicated you; a prophet to the nations I appointed you."

Hebrews 13:8 "Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever."

Now I have a few others that I'd like to start, but I'd like some input. If you have time and if you don't dillydally, you can help me pick out the next verses to work on. Of course, I'm starting one now to give you guys time to figure it out. The verse I am in the processing of remembering is

John 16:22
"So you also are in anguish. But I will see you again, and your hearts will rejoice, and no one will take your joy away from you."

The next possibilities are:
James 4:8 "Come near to God and he will come near to you. Wash your hands, you sinners, and purify your hearts, you double-minded."

Job 8:21 "He will yet fill your mouth with laughter and your lips with shouts of joy."

Galatians 6:9 "Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up."

John 16:27 "No, the Father himself loves you because you have loved me and have believed that I came from God."

Proverbs 16:9 "In his heart a man plans his course, but the LORD determines his steps."
